We were given an advance supply of Oil of Olay’s latest product, Oil of Olay Definity Neck & Chest Daily Restoration Treatment. This product is a creamy lotion targeted to the neck and chest region with a very low price point.

Though we did read some positive reviews on this product, very few reviews indicate that the product does what it claims to do; reduce wrinkles. Consumers stated that Oil of Olay Neck & Chest Daily Restoration Treatment was absorbed quickly, was light, had no smell and felt good. But few testimonials stated it actually helped with wrinkles.

The first problem with the product is the poor labeling. There is no ingredients list directly on the product. So if you have tossed the box, you will have to guess what is inside. Directions for use are not well written. It is unclear how much and how often the product should be used.

We do not see many ingredients in the product that are beneficial to wrinkles. And some of the ingredients are considered to be potentially toxic. A partial list of ingredients includes; butylene glycol, hexylene glycol, triethoxycaprylylsilane,cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone crosspolymer, titanium dioxide, phenoxyethanol, isohexadecane, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate. Although some felt it was fragrance free it does contain fragrance.

On trying the cream we did not find it to be moisturizing nor did we experience an immediate boost to the skin’s appearance.

We did like the hygenic pump container.
